KINGSTON, JAMAICA: If feedback is any guide, then Excelsior High School's Class of 1977's recent reunion was a smashing success-according to the gathering consensus.

More than that, the weekend was a celebration of friendship and the spirit of togetherness that has endured for more than four decades.

Swelling Pride Greets Excelsior's Return to Penn Relays
by Duane Coombs

PHILADELPHIA, PA- Penn Relays Festival has always been about more than a staid tabulation of accolades. This many first place finishes, this many awards, this many shields and watches won.
Not just a track meet, it has been transformed into something else. The annual extravaganza is even more----a carnival of colors, flags and frivolity; of sights and sounds and easy camaraderie among friends, and good natured jousting between rivals.
